BoltzmannSim explores Lattice Boltzmann Methods (LBM), a mesoscopic approach in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) that simulates fluid flow by modeling particle movement on a discrete lattice. Unlike traditional CFD, LBM excels in handling complex geometries and multiphase flows by capturing mass and momentum transport through particle distribution functions. BoltzmannSim examines how LBM handles boundary conditions, relates microscopic interactions to macroscopic behavior, and applies to diverse fields like aerodynamics and porous media flow. This study underscores LBM's flexibility and robustness in simulating complex fluid dynamics, advancing scientific and engineering applications.
